| In the seven years that KasimInfo.com has been doing this annual analysis, 2009 was the quietest year for Kasim. Obviously this analysis doesn't take into account the days he spent rehearsing before tours, all the travel time involved or when he was recording and it is possible that some items have been omitted (as it was much harder this year to ensure that I received the info). This analysis is based on the calender online here.
Kasim also stayed in the US far more than he has done in present years. His only public appearance outside the country was a festival in Norway in June.
This year, other than solo gigs or gigs with his own band, Kasim only played as part of Todd Rundgren's band which accounted for 46 of his appearances but it is known that he spent several weeks in California recording with Meat Loaf.
