Kasim Sulton NewsFriday 11th AugustKasim has not announced himself whether this is correct but Todd Rundgren is reported in this interview as saying that the band are looking for a new bass player. Earlier today 11 gigs for The New Cars were listed on Pollstar.com but they have since disappeared (as often happened earlier this year.) These gigs start in October and the last one listed was 26th November. As one of the dates was 2nd November (when we know that Kasim will be playing a gig in New York City with Meat Loaf), it seems likely that this report is true. However it seems likely that Kasim will play the New Cars gig in Atlanta, GA on Friday 8th September (as Kasim changed his gig at The Cup in Staten Island from 9th to 16th September) but this has not been confirmed.
