Musician and senior music executive Doug Kennedy has seen concerts by artists as diverse as Utopia, Yes, Duran Duran, Meat Loaf and Kasim Sulton. Doug has just completed a pub crawl of various bars in the Philadelphia area, as well as visiting various eating establishments where he has been banned from several. For several years Doug played lead guitar for the Philly based band The Isle of Q where his gritty guitar playing and taut chest brought the band legions of new fans. Doug played on his protege Kasim Sulton's own CD, Quid Pro Quo, which was released in 2002 on Sphere Sound Records. Currently Doug is busy thinking up marketing strategies for when the album is sold in stores, plus making plans about how to be headhunted by Microsoft, Starbucks, Donald Trump and David Bowie. Doug will next be performing live on 14th May at Callahan's on South Street, Philadelphia. A limited number of tickets are still available from Doug for the price of a beer.

    To the delight of female record store staff in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania areas Doug Kennedy has been busy the first three months of this year travelling all over promoting the artists for his record company. In May Doug will be playing a gig with Beatle Joe and Atomic Larry at the Irish Bar Callahan's on South Street, Philadelphia. Before that date, Doug is alternating evenings between rehearsing for the gig and visiting the bar to taste all their 300 different types of beers.
