03.30 - There are two within one detailed reviews of Meat Loaf concerts from 1993 and 1994 on Google that briefly mention Kasim. The Kasim comments are:
"Hmm, the accountants amongst us may be wondering about my earlier statement that the backing band had six members. Where did the second guitarist come from? Well, he played keyboards on the first song and a few thereafter, but for most of the set, he played rhythm guitar and contributed backing vocals. He was later introduced as Kasim Sulton (of
Todd Rundgren's Utopia.
All this is identical to yesterday. As I could make out the band was:
Mark Alexander (keyboards/piano)
Kasim Sulton (keyboards/2nd. guitar)
However it's worth reading the whole review(s) to get an idea about the concerts back then.
Wednesday 25th May 2005
15.30 - Kasim has been moved from guitar to bass for this Saturday evening's performance of Movin' Out. This will be Kasim's fourth performance of the musical on bass. He is the only musician ever to have played more than one instrument in the musical.
01.30 - There's a very pro Kasim thread on the messageboard attached to TRConnection.com called "KASIM IS A GENIUS". The best quotes from that thread are:
"footage of KASIM playing not only exceptional basslines whilst harmonising or singing lead, but guitar histrionics I never knew he was capable of"
"KASIM was and continues to be a phenomenal talent once again highlighting the gorge between worth and profit.
Integrity is the key"
"Kasim is and always will be one of music's most talented. He even knows how to keep his songs in my head, really, I can never get them out."
"Not to mention the fact that he is one of the sweetest guys around. Always makes time for his fans. And a voice like an angel"
"He has a great range and his upper-middle register is very clear."
"Saw the Liars Tour last week and watching Kasim again after so long was a thrill. I bought Quid Pro Quo in the lobby and it's been in the CD player since. He is such a terrific musician and writer"

05.15 - It's been removed now but over the weekend on DouglasRKennedy.com Doug had his recap of the week which included the comment:
"Finally, I learned that my friend Kasim Sulton has recorded a new song written by his pal Phil Thornalley (Natalie Imbruglia, Johnny Hates Jazz, The Cure). I'm a big Phil Thornalley fan, so this news blew me away. The tune will be on the Sanctuary Records re-release of Kasim's Quid Pro Quo album, which as you may (or may not) know, I played a little guitar on. Needless to say, I'm dying to hear this new track..."

Todd's reply is "Well, there's no way of avoiding those discussions. It's being considered but we're not sure if it'll happen. If it does proceed, it'll be relatively perfunctory. Maybe a few showcases, but certainly not six months of touring.".
