07.00 - Some more info that came out of Todd Rundgren's online chat on Sunday is that he is mixing a compilation CD (mixed to sound as though it is one seamless concert) spanning many of his tours that Kasim was involved in starting with The A'Capella Tour and ending with The Liars Tour. Apparently Todd also said that the 4 members of Utopia "have recognized that
there is a 30th anniversary milestone coming up should they decide to do anything and they have all put aside some time next year for it".
06.00 - Earlier items from this Blog have been moved to a new page (in order for this page to load faster). The link is at the bottom of this page.

18.15 - Tonight Meat Loaf held an online chat. The total transcript is available to read here but the main parts that relate to the tour (and therefore fans of Kasim) are:
They may play one or two new songs from Bat Out Of Hell 3
As far as visual effects are concerned: "I have no idea what we're doing right now, we're in the process of doing all kinds of things"
"The same people that have been in my band will be in the band. Because I got so ill the last tour, insurance won't let me play more than an hour and 45 minutes and I can't play in the winter."
"We're working on a teletext system where you can text messages on the stage."
Meat Loaf also mentioned that they will be playing in Iraq(?) and that after the tour (17th September) he will concentrate on recording
15.30 - There are some photos of Kasim (and Doug Kennedy) at the Hamilton Street Cafe and Stage back in 2002 on FYHRWorks.com.
10.30 - The venue for the Meat Loaf concert in Clearwater, Florida is confirmed as the Ruth Eckard Hall.
09.00 - It appears that the Meat Loaf presale is a presale for AOL (and various radio stations depending on the venue).
08.30 - According to fans, in an online chat that Todd Rundgren held last night, he was asked whether there will be any more, Liars Tour dates. He said that he didn't make any money out of the tour but "will do number crunching". As one fan put it - "so he didn't say never"! Todd has also spent the last ten days editing the Liars DVD (the LED lights caused problems). There will be a few bonus items on the DVD, and a video clip from the One World Fan Club Party in Toyko. Also, behind the scenes photos. Many thanks to Michele for this info.
08.15 - Tickets for the Saratoga concert that Kasim Sulton will be playing with Meat Loaf go on sale at 10.00am today. (All the other tickets go on sale at noon.)
08.00 - Unfortunately it appears that the KasimInfo.co.uk part of the site is currently down. As the company that hosts this site are not working today, it will not be rectified until tomorrow.

Tickets are $100 plus charges.

07.30 - Overnight Kasim Sulton sent a message to his mailing list. Amongst other things he mentions:
Kasim has signed with Sanctuary Records and a third version of Quid Pro Quo will be released later this year with two new tracks. Kasim also plans to release the two new tracks to people who have already bought Quid Pro Quo.
Kasim is the only musician who has played two instruments in Movin' Out.
It was Kasim's idea for the Utopia 2006 reunion!
Kasim is "thinking" of playing a solo gig while he is UK in July.
"Right now the most important thing is finishing new material."
Wednesday 23rd March 2005
12.00 - The News section of the site has been updated.
08.45 - Tickets go on sale online today for some of the US Meat Loaf concerts that Kasim will be playing this summer. These tickets are presales through Meat Loaf's official fan club at MeatLoaf.net. Membership of the fan club is $40 for a year. Fan club members then have a choice of 3 ticket packages to purchase in addition. Each package is the price for one ticket per concert:
Bronze - $12 plus the ticket price (for example at the Beacon Theater in New York the total price is $90.50 which includes the ticket price of $78.50). This package guarantees being able to purchase a ticket somewhere in the venue and expires on 1st April. No indication is made about where the seat will be and it may be possible to buy a closer seat when tickets go on sale through ticketing agencies (although you save the ticket agency fees with this package).
Gold - $150. This package guarantees a seat within row 2 to 15 (plus extras which are geared towards fans of Meat Loaf including a chance to possibly meet him). This option at each venue expires on 7th July and fans will be told after that date where exactly their seat will be located.
Platinum - $400. This package guarantees a seat within the first or second row (plus extras which are geared towards fans of Meat Loaf including a meet and greet with him). This option at each venue expires on 7th July and fans will be told after that date where exactly their seat will be located.
Tickets for the Toronto, Mt. Pleasant, Robinsonville, Clearwater, Hollywood and Biloxi venues are not going on sale today but most of the other presales commence at noon and are being dealt with by a "first come, first served" process within each ticket package.
It is not yet known when tickets will be going on general sale.
06.30 - Two more Meat Loaf concerts have been added to the US tour schedule. They are:
11th August - Casino Rama, Toronto, Canada
