The venue tonight is called the NYCB Theater at Westbury but it used to be called the Westbury Music Fair. That venue opened in June 1956 and mainly presented musicals. In 1966 the venue was converted to the theatre-in-the-round design it has now (with a stage which revolves at some gigs but it won't at this one). Acts who have appeared at this venue include Judy Garland, The Who), Bruce Springsteen, Tom Jones Diana Ross and Kasim Sulton as part of the Patty Smyth and Scandal Tour on Friday 11th February 2005! The address of the venue is 13 Main Street, Tarrytown, NY 10591 and this venue has 843 seats. It was built in 1885 by chocolate manufacturer William Wallace and is one of only 6% of theaters in the United States built before 1900. The Music Hall was one of the first theaters to show silent films in 1901 and was the venue for several national causes, including women's suffrage in 1915. Mae West and Woodrow Wilson were among the first performers and speakers to grace The Music Hall stage. Unfortunately The Music Hall had to close its doors in 1976, largely due to the rise in popularity of multiplexes and television, and it was planned that the theater was to be torn down to make way for a parking lot! Thankfully the venue was saved and was placed on the National Register for Historic Places in 1980.

Artists who have appeared at this venue include Dave Brubeck, Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor and Rufus Wainwright.

Kasim Sulton last played at this venue on 1st July 2011 as part of the 'Classic' Todd Rundgren Tour. Prior to that he played here on 11th October 2008 during the Todd Rundgren Arena Tour.

On Wednesday evening they played a gig in Morristown, NJ. Venue to venue is only about 51 miles or an hour to drive.

The address of the venue is 100 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960. The theater was built in 1937 and started as a motion picture house until 1974. The theater changed hands several times over the years until it was purchased by a local developer in 1986. It sat empty and in disrepair until 1994 until, thanks to massive cleanup efforts by a community-based volunteer corps, on 29th September 1994, it reopened to a sell-out crowd with The Kirov Orchestra of St. Petersburg, Russia.

The theater seats 1,274 with 962 in the downstairs orchestra part and the remainder in the balcony. Kasim Sulton has played here on 9th October 2008 as part of the Todd Rindgren Arena Tour and again on Wednesday 15th September 2010 as part of the Todd Rundgren Todd/Healing Tour..

Last night they played a gig in Englewood, NJ. Venue to venue is only about 35 miles or 40 minutes drive.

The Bergen Performing Arts Center is described as "a theater of and for the community that it serves throughout northern New Jersey, by being a creative focus, educational resource, and engine of economic vitality. This theater opened during 2004 in the former John Harms Center. This was one of the largest performing arts centers in New Jersey which closed on 14th April 2003. The John Harms Center originally opened as the Englewood Plaza on 22nd November 1926 so is full of history. Kasim first played here on Friday 2nd April 2010 during the Todd Rundgren's Robert Johnson Tour and again on Wednesday 16th November 2011 as part of the Todd Rundgren's Utopia Tour. He most recently played here on Saturday 21st April 2012 as part of Blue Öyster Cult.

Last night they played a gig in Alexandria, VA which which will have taken about four hours to drive the 240 miles.

The concert starts tonight at 7.30pm and tickets cost $54.75. The Birchmere is General Admission with all seating done on a first come, first served basis. To keep the process orderly, apparently they use Line Numbers which are picked up at the box office upon arrival. The venue is all seated with tables. At 5.00pm the Box Office opens and they start handing out Line Numbers to customers as they arrive the Box Office. At 6.00pm, when the venue doors open, they begin seating by Line Number (i.e. the first person in at 5.00pm will be the first person allowed into the venue).

Kasim last played here on Tuesday 28th June 2011 on the 'Classic' Todd Rundgren Tour and prior to that on Tuesday 13th April 2010, 17th December 2008 on Todd Rundgren's Arena Tour and on 16th December 2007 again with Todd Rundgren.

On Saturday evening they played a gig in Ridgefield, CT which is 289 miles so will have taken about five hours to drive or possibly Kasim had a night at home!

However a couple of days ago there were only single seats remaining except for 2 together in the back row of balcony so it seems the show will be sold out.

Thee is no indication on the website whether there will be an opening act.

The Ridgefield Playhouse venue only opened in December 2000 and Kasim's first appearance at the venue was on Sunday 11th April 2010 during the Todd Rundgren's Robert Johnson Music Tour. Kasim also played there on 11th September 2011 on the 'Classic Todd Rundgren' Tour and again on 2nd February 2013 with Blue Öyster Cult.

Last night they played a gig in Boston, MA. Boston, MA to Ridgefield, CT is 166 miles which will have taken about three hours to drive.

It's quite an intimate message this month, plus Kasim has written about touring with Todd Rundgren.

The venue tonight is called the Wilbur Theatre and this will be Kasim Sulton's second visit to this venue in recent years as he played here on 15th November 2011 on the Utopia 2011 Tour.

Tickets for the gig tonight (from this link) are either $51.70 or $41.70 including charges. A couple of days ago the best seats still available were on the left size of the mezzine in the eighth row.

The Wilbur Theatre was built in 1914 by the Shubert brothers who apparently named it for their friend and theatre manager A.L. Wilbur.

Apparently the theater has a policy that umbrellas are not allowed at the venue!

On Wednesday evening they played in Salisbury, MA so they will only have had to drive 41 miles south which should have only taken an hour.
