This is a three day festival and today the gates are open from 11am until midnight.

Blue Öyster Cult are scheduled to play from 6.30pm. They are followed at 8.15pm by Grand Funk Railroad. On the ViewPoint Bank Stage before Blue Öyster Cult are a Def Leppard tribute band!

Tickets (from this link) include the concerts with the price of admission. A three day adult pass is $30 but for the single day it is $20.

The gig is at Seminole Casino which is located at 5550 NW 40th Street, Coconut Creek FL 33073. the gig will be in The Pavillion which seats 1,200 people.

The gig starts at 8pm and tickets (from this link) are selling very well as the best seats available are in the fourteenth row. Tickets vary in price from $23.20 to $34.65 (including charges).

This month Kasim has written about playing as part of Blue Öyster Cult in Australia and about his forthcoming album.

The gig is at Napper Tandy's, 15 E. Main Street, Smithtown, Long Island, NY and is the 6th Annual All star benefit show to benefit the ALS Gift Fund at the Eleanor and Lou Gehrig ALS Research Center at Columbia University, NYC. 100% of the proceeds from admission and raffles goes to the ALS Gift Fund.

the headliner is Ricky Byrd who will be playing with Kasim Sulton and Shawn Murray.

Tickets are $20 each and are available at the door. Doors open at 3.00pm and the music starts at 3.30pm.

ALS, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis—aka, “Lou Gehrig’s Disease”—is a devastating, terminal neurological condition for which there is currently no cure. It is estimated that roughly 30,000 Americans are currently afflicted with ALS, and only a few of these unfortunate victims survive five years after diagnosis. Famous people who have succumbed to ALS include Lou Gehrig, David Niven and Chairman Mao Tse Tung.

The gig is in Melbourne (where they played last night too) and the venue is called The Palace Theatre.

This is another of these all day gigs (it is a public holiday today in Australia) so the doors of the venue open at noon (10pm last night on Staten Island!). The performance times today are:

The gig is in Melbourne and the venue is called Prince Bandroom.

Tonight doors open at 8pm (so 6am in Staten Island!) and tickets are AUD 64.80 after charges which is about $67. Tickets are available at the door.

This is a General Admission gig and the address is 29 Fitzroy St. St Kilda, 3182. Melbourne Australia. St. Kilda is a city on the south coast on the outskirts of melbourne and is the city where Kasim played with Richie sambora in 1998.

Other artists who have played at this venue include Lenny Kravitz, Scissor Sisters, Pink and Coldplay.

Last Sunday Blue Öyster Cult played a gig in Sydney which was about 9 hours north east.

The gig is again in Sydney (the city where they played last night) but they are playing at the Enmore Theatre.

The gig itself started (past tense!) at 1pm (so 11pm on Saturday evening in Staten Island) as the bill consists of Hoodoo Gurus, Flamin’ Groovies, Blue Oyster Cult, Buzzcocks, Peter Case, The Stems, Lime Spiders and The Crusaders plus the website indicates there may be more artists! It seems likely that Blue Öyster Cult will be one of the last bands to play tonight.

Tickets vary in price from AUD 167.70 ($171) to AUD 117.70 ($120) and are aailable on the door.

After tonight, their next gig is not until next Wednesday.

The gig tonight is at a venue called The Hi-Fi in Sydney which only opened in 2012. Last night they played in Gold Coast which is about ten hours north so hopefully they will have flown.

The address of the venue is Building 220, 122 Lang Road, Moore Park, Sydney and the gig starts at 8pm.

Tickets are now only available on the door and cost AUD 65.50 (about $68).

The gig tonight is at a venue called Twin Towns Clubs & Resorts in a city called Gold Coast. Last night they played in Brisbane which is about an hour north.

According to their website "Twin Towns Clubs & Resorts sets new standards in entertainment, accommodation, dining, meetings and events with world class facilities to cater for your every need. Twin Towns offers a world-class Showroom showcasing a variety of national and international performers, 150 hours of live free music per week within our lounges, an array of dining options, 5 bars and superior facilities for conferences and events."

The gig tonight is another one on the 2013 Dig It Up! Hoodoo Gurus Invitational Tour but tonight on the bill is only Hoodoo Gurus and Blue Öyster Cult.

The gig starts at 8.30pm (6.30am in Staten Island!) and tickets (from this link) are AUD 58 so about $60.

The address of the venue is Twin Towns Showroom, Tweed Heads, Queensland and this will bethe first time that Kasim has played at this venue.

The gig tonight is at The Tivoli in Brisbane, Queensland which is in the tropics so, although it is fall in Australia the temperature outside today is still expected to reach 79 degrees.

The gig tonight is part of the 2013 Dig It Up! Hoodoo Gurus Invitational Tour. The Hoodoo Gurus are a garage band with a 31 year history and each year they do a series of gigs and invite other bands along. On this tour Blue Öyster Cult will be playing 4 gigs and tonight the band Flamin Groovies will also be on the bill.

The address of the venue is 52 Costin Street, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, Queensland 4006. The venue was built in 1917 and was restored in Art Deco style.

The gig tonight starts at 8pm (6am in Staten Island!) with doors opening at 7pm.

Tiickets for this gig (from this link) are AUD 77.30 which is about US $79.56. This is a General Admission standing gig for over 18s only.

Kasim will be playing six gigs in just over a week as part of Blue Öyster Cult. The first gig is on Thursday in Brisbane.

There does not appear to be any direct flights from New York to Brisbane but a flight with one stop will take about 22 hours in total!

Australia is 14 hours ahead of Staten Island.

Last night they played a gig in Corona, CA so it will have been about a four hour drive to Las Vegas.

Tonight Kasim Sulton will play a gig as part of Blue Öyster Cult at M15 Concert Bar & Grill in Corona, CA.

The venue is located at 9022 Pulsar Ct. Suite H, Corona, CA. The venue has a mixture of seating from the bar area to dinner to VIP booths. Tickets for this gig vary in price from $28.50 to $70.25.

Doors open tonight at 7pm but it is not clear at what time the band will play as there are two opening acts - Souljourners and Kanaan Road.

The gig starts at 9pm and may be shorter than normal as this is a casino. Tickets (from this link) are $32.75 and $44. Yesterday there were General Admission seats available.

This will be Kasim Sulton's first visit to this venue in recent years.

The casino complex is situated on 11 acres of land with approximately 310 feet of Boardwalk frontage overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel has 942 hotel rooms and suites in two hotel towers. The casino is 99,951-square feet and the theater where Kasim will be playing tonight seats 300.

MusicFeeds.com has a report about the gigs in Australia. It will be Blue Öyster Cult's first gigs in the country in four decades and tickets go on sale next Monday.

It seems that the Rockers In Recovery gig at Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center, Delray Beach, FL last Saturday did not happen.
