Some fans have reported receiving an email regarding a survey to decide on the best date for Kasim Sulton to play a solo gig in Woodstock, NY which will be broadcast too on the internet at a cost of $19.95. Click here for the link to details about the survey.

Kasim's gig starts at 8pm with doors opening at 7.30pm.

I've also been advised that now only the net proceeds will go to the Animal Adoption and Resource Center and that the price has been increased to $12 PLUS postage within the US (more outside).

The T-shirts are white with a black and white picture on the front of the logo for the gig (as pictured below). The T-shirts are 100% cotton and come in the sizes small, medium, large and extra large. They cost $12 within the US and $15 outside the US including postage.

As well as playing Kasim's newest completed song The Traveler, Kasim also played Someone To Watch Over Me by Gershwin!

Tickets for tonight's gig are either $27 in advance (from this link) or $30 on the door. The gig starts at 8pm and doors open at 7pm.

The venue is called Gateway Creamery and it is located at 614 Kentucky Ave. Joplin, MO. The description on the internet is:
"During the early nineteen hundreds until the late fifties the Gateway Creamery operated as a dairy processor for the 4-State region, delivering milk door to door. Initially by horse drawn wagons and later by milk trucks.
For many years the building was vacant. Then in 2003, the Creamery was bought, and one and half year renovation process began, eventually bringing the beautiful three story brick structure into a fully operational restaurant, bar and stage.
A three thousand square foot exterior patio and bar area was added to the structure, architectural elements from the original building and the only Bocce Ball court in the Joplin area.
The exceptional food, excellent service, live music, and unique atmosphere have all combined to make the Gateway Creamery the place to be!!"

This is a concert which benefits Right Turn - Addiction Services. It is held at Showcase Live at 23 Patriots Place, Foxboro MA. Tickets are $40 for General Admission, $75 for Rock Star Seating and $125 for VIP seating. Tickets can be purchased at this link.

This years SuperGroup consists of Rick Derringer on vocals and guitar, Elliot Easton (The Cars) on guitar, Ricky Byrd (formally of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts), Barry Goudreau (formally of Boston) on guitar, Chad Smith (The Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums, Jeff Kazee (Southside Johnny and Bon Jovi) on keys, James Montgomery on vocals and harp, Tim Pike (The Soul Band), plus other musicians. Kasim Sulton will play bass and the special guests will be Ernie and The Automatics.
