The club initially featured Irish troubadours performing drinking songs and traditional Irish music but has evolved to include mostly original music from up and coming songwriters and light bands. Several artists have been signed to recording contracts after performing at the club. Guest artists who have appeared here include Joan Osborne and Lenny Kravitz.

Kasim Sulton in Sacramento, CA tonight
07.15 - Tonight Kasim Sulton plays the second gig on this leg of the Todd Rundgren AWATS Tour. The gig tonight is at the Crest Theatre in Sacramento, CA.
The address of the venue is 1013 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. Click here to view the venue website. The site of the venue has housed a theatre since 1912. In 1986 the theatre was re-opened as a live venue and it under-went a $1 million restoration in 1995 to take it back to its glittery 1940's appearance. Nowadays the Crest features a fabulous gold leaf art deco interior. The stage is 36 feet wide and 24 feet deep.
Doors open tonight at 6.30pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. Click here to purchase tickets. The face value of tickets are $73 but they also add an $8.25 Convenience Fee plus an Order Processing Fee of $4 per order! A few days ago seats were still available in the fifth row of the balcony.
