Todd Rundgren Band Tour Map - Staten Island to San Francisco
17.00 - Tomorrow Kasim Sulton starts another tour as part of Todd Rundgren's band. The gig tomorrow is at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco, CA.
A drive from Staten Island to San Francisco would take a bum-numbing one day and twenty one hours if you were able to drive it with no stops as it is 2,917 miles. Despite the fact that Todd said in this interview that he made no money from the earlier leg of the AWATS Tour, obviously Kasim Sulton will have flown it and a flight can cost as little as $124 and a direct flight takes less than seven hours.

Kasim Sulton's week
05.30 - This week is a busy week for Kasim Sulton! As well as playing 4 gigs on the Todd Rundgren AWATS Tour, Kasim is also playing a solo acoustic gig and this is all in just five consecutive days of this week!
According to the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre website today the venue is allocated for set-up and rehearsals for the tour. Tomorrow is the first gig on this leg of the AWATS Tour and is in San Francisco, California. The next gig is on Wednesday in Sacramento, CA followed by the Kasim solo gig the next day in Los Angeles, CA. The following day (Friday) there is an AWATS gig in Los Angeles and the final gig of the week for Kasim is another AWATS gig on Saturday night in Ventura, CA.
(The Kasim Sulton Band's gig at The M Room in Philadelphia, PA that was to have been played on Sunday 6th December has been postponed to Sunday 20th December.)
