Kasim Sulton in Orlando, Florida
06.45 - Tonight Kasim Sulton plays the 19th concert of the 2nd US leg of the Meat Loaf Three Bats (Bat Out Of Hell III) Tour. The concert is at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida. This concert is rescheduled from 4/8/07 (it was postponed due to Meat Loaf being ill) and tickets from that date are still valid.
This venue is described as "Orlando's best concert venue! Imposing columns, majestic archways, a grand entrance, plus the latest in sound and light technology…" and covers 140,000 square feet (it is adjacent to the world's largest Hard Rock Cafe). The venue can hold 3,000 people (depending on how it is set out) and is located at Universal Studios CityWalk. Click here to view the venue website.
The concert starts tonight at 8.00pm. According to the venue website the concert is sold out but TicketMaster.com have some seats available in the back rows.
Kasim Sulton last played this venue back in January 2003. However Kasim seems to be unlucky at playing this venue as the Meat Loaf concert scheduled here in April 2007 was canceled and his previous expected appearance here (in June 2006) as part of The New Cars was also canceled due to Elliot Easton's accident. Kasim last played in Orlando (with Meat Loaf) on 21st September 2005 (at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center).

Kasim Sulton on new DVD
01.15 - Apparently Kasim Sulton was shown during 3 videos in the A & E show Private Sessions (with Meat Loaf) on Sunday morning. (The program is repeated early next Sunday.) It was described to me that Kasim "was shown far more than usual" in the videos. Apparently these videos are part of a new Meat Loaf DVD that will be released later this year called Meat Loaf: In Search Of Paradise.
The DVD is described by a recent press release as "A theatrical documentary film directed by Bruce David Klein and produced by Atlas Media Corp in association with VOOM HD Pictures and 10th Street Entertainment. In this film, Meat Loaf reveals surprising shades of himself as he sets out on his most ambitious world tour to date. We watch him battling time, budget, ambition -- and even himself -- all in the name of his hard-fought-for but always elusive goal: perfection. An absolute must-see for any Meat Loaf fan!".
Apparently this video will have its world premiere at the Montreal Film Festival on 31st August and is due to be released on 16th October. According to Amazon.com the cover (pictured below) is the graphic from the drum riser on stage which Meat Loaf said at one UK concert looks like a young Kasim Sulton! Click here to pre-order the DVD which Amazon.com are calling 3 Bats Live.

Now Sweden for Kasim Sulton!
08.00 - Another new concert had been added to the Meat Loaf Three Bats (Bat Out Of Hell III) Tour - this time it's in Stockholm, Sweden!
This will be Kasim Sulton's first concert in Sweden for several years (although he did perform on a TV show in the country in 2003 and played a short set at a festival there earlier this year).
The concert is on Saturday 17th November and is at the Hovet Arena. Unlike the concert in Norway two days earlier, this is a seated concert and tickets are already on sale. To purchase tickets go to TicketMaster.se. You would be advised to follow the "Engelska" link as I bought a ticket on the Swedish page and it wasn't easy!

Meat Loaf Three Bats (Bat Out Of Hell III) Tour Map
07.45 - Tomorrow night Kasim Sulton plays the 15th concert of the 2nd US leg of the Meat Loaf Three Bats (Bat Out Of Hell III) Tour. The concert is at The Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ.
This concert is another blip on the tour schedule as last night they played north of Toronto, Canada, on Monday they are playing in Boston, MA and on Wednesday down in Mississippi but first of all they have to take this detour to New Jersey! (This blip makes me even more convinced that this tour schedule was designed by a man! Although if it had been designed by a woman then Meat Loaf would be playing near a lot more shopping malls!)
Rama, ON to Atlantic City, NJ is 619 miles almost due south (it doesn't look so far on the map!) which will take about 10 hours by road (plus whatever delay there is at immigration).
Meat Loaf 3 Bats Tour Mileage by road to date venue to venue (estimated) - 3,435 miles.
