The Red AND The Black Golden Age Of Leather Burnin' For You Career Of Evil Shooting Shark The Vigil Black Blade Last Days Of May Godzilla (Don't Fear) The Reaper Hot Rails To Hell
Review by Paul L:
My best friend and I traveled from KC to Chicago to see Todd's "State" show in May, which was fantastic, but odd to see Praire Prince and Jessie Gress with Todd, but no Kasim! Well, shazam!
My Kasim fix would be met via the BOC show.
Let me say how nice that was. Kasim's bass sounded clean, he played with a thunder, a funk, what ever the particular song style was dictated.
Secondly, kasim's voice is quite distinct and his background vocals were easy to identify!!
Eric Bloom of BOC did as I have seen on YouTube, the narration of introducing Kasim and the past artist he has played with and Kasim and co. would break into a few bars of songs popular to those artist, then Kasim proceeded to play a bass solo, with the band rejoining after Kasim showed his skill on the bass guitar!
I was not disappointed, thrilled to hear songs by BOC, particularly my favorite BOC tune, "then came the last days of May" with Kasim being a part of the song!
I also had an opportunity for a brief chat and pic with Kasim at the end of the show!
If you are a BOC fan and/or a Kasim Sulton fan, you were not disappointed on either account!

Comments from fans include:
"They played right at 1 1/2 hours with the encore."
"Eric tried to sing a bit more than usual with mixed results. His banter between songs was pretty entertaining, but he just doesn't have the pipes anymore. But no sense beating that dead horse."
"They got a great response."

The venue (taken from the KasimInfo.com Blog that day):
The address of the venue is 11600 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203. It is a General Admission gig for anyone at the festival.
Last night they played in Fargo, ND. Fargo, ND to Shawnee, KS is 608 miles almost due south which would have taken about 9 hours to drive so hopefully they flew.
This fstival started on Thursday and ends tomorrow. This morning it included a parade and the festival is open today from 11am to 10pm.
Blue Öyster Cult are the headliners on the Main Stage tonight and are expected to play from 9pm to 10.30pm.
