The gig tonight is at The Tivoli in Brisbane, Queensland which is in the tropics so, although it is fall in Australia the temperature outside today is still expected to reach 79 degrees.
The gig tonight is part of the 2013 Dig It Up! Hoodoo Gurus Invitational Tour. The Hoodoo Gurus are a garage band with a 31 year history and each year they do a series of gigs and invite other bands along. On this tour Blue Öyster Cult will be playing 4 gigs and tonight the band Flamin Groovies will also be on the bill.
 The address of the venue is 52 Costin Street, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, Queensland 4006. The venue was built in 1917 and was restored in Art Deco style. The gig tonight starts at 8pm (6am in Staten Island!) with doors opening at 7pm.
