The address of the venue is 416 North 9th Street, St. Louis, MO 63101. This venue opened in 1917 to host vaudeville shows before changing to a movie house in the 1930s.
Artists who have played here over the years include Cary Grant, Eartha Kit, Sir John Gielgud, Mae West, Henry Fonda, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Alicia Keyes. Pearl Jam filmed a video in this theater.
This will be Kasim Sulton's first appearance at this venue. He last played St Louis on Thursday 3rd June 2004 on the Todd Rundgren Liars Tour. He also drove through the city during his Kasim Sulton May 2010 Solo Tour on his way to Indianapolis.
The gig tonight starts at the earlier time of 7pm (it was originaly 8pm) and a few days ago seats were still available in the front section of the balcony. Tickets (from this link) for this gig vary in price from $65 to $95.75.
Recently the band The Fixx were added as the opening act.
