I Saw The Light "Saturday night at the nicely re-modeled Beaumont Club, TR put on a very high quality show. His musicianship live is back to where it was in the 70s and 80s, which is great." "Venue has been re-done.. now a decent place to see a show (although last night a few drunk women were vying for attention by dancing(well at least trying to) in front of the first row...rude but there is always someone..).." "Todd, Jesse Kasim and Prairie nailed down effortlessly u guys are pros for sure." "The set started at 8:05pm, and the encores were completed by 10:10pm. Kasim darted into a cab at 10:14pm!" Tonight Kasim Sulton plays the 11th gig of the Todd Rundgren Johnson's Music Tour. The gig tonight is at The Beaumont Club in Kansas City, MO.
Doors open tonight at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. Tickets for this gig (from this link) are $75 for the first 6 rows, $46.50 tickets for the other seated rows and $35 for standing (all prices are plus charges of at least $4.50 each). However there are now only standing tickets available.
Kasim last played this venue back in 2000 on the Todd Rundgren Power Trio Tour. (The picture below is of Kasim at that gig.) He since played in Kansas City (but not at The Beaumont Club) on 2nd June 2004 on the Todd Rundgren Liars Tour and on both 29th and 30th September 2005 on the Meat Loaf Hair Of The Dog Tour.
