Couldn't I Just Tell You "The band launched right into Love in Action, then paused to say hello. Todd mentioned that his back hurt, but that didn’t stop him. " "The band was tight." "Early on in the show, Todd told the crowd that he would "rock our socks off" and he delivered on the promise." "Fantastic show." "All the players were sweating hard by the middle of the show, but they continued to play with enthusiasm. They played hard, yet were very relaxed with each other and with the setting. Even Kasim Sulton smiled some!" "Todd was in a great mood even though he admitted that his back was sore. This was the most I had seen Todd chat with the crowd since the solo acoustic/piano shows." "Todd said that just over a year ago was the premiere; now it's the swan song of this tour. He made mention early on about his back troubles and that he wouldn't be jumping around as usual. No kick line, either. I"m sure this back thing is really cramping his style. He was in a pretty good mood in spite of it and the crowd really enjoyed the show." "The sound was not great, it was hard to hear the guitar solos, but everything else about the show was superb." "The venue was hot and the band seemed exhausted by the end of the show. They should have been exhausted because they worked hard to put on a tremendous show. "
