Road To Utopia Abandon City Back On The Steet Hammer In My Heart Trapped The Ikon Caravan Last Of The New Wave Riders
Second Set: Just One Victory "Well, tonights show got off to a bad start with Todds microphone not working for the entire Opening song, International Feel. Kasim tried singing lead about halfway through. I'm not sure that Todd even knew his mic was out. I dont think he did. The Mic was still out to begin Never Never Land until a stage hand ran onstage & gave Todd a hand held microphone. Unfortunatly, this seemed to take the wind out of the bands sails as the rest of the show didn't seem to have the energy or emotion of the first show." "Surprisingly, the opening Utopia warm up act was sloppier & less polished than the AWATS set. I was really disapointed with the quality of the opening set." "The simulcast suffered from very bad sound at the beginning of the Utopia set and at the beginning of the AWATS set. Lots of distortion coming from the mikes. There were a lot more mistakes made tonight then yesterday, but the sound quality overall was better today." "Kas was wonderful on all accounts with a "perfect 10" landing out of The Ikon bass solo during Utopia set!" "On Monday, Kasim just smoked the bass portion near the ending on the IKON. Even Todd was impressed." "Someone needs to tell the camera operators that zooming in on extreme close up shots of Todds guitar & hands on every Guitar solo isn't what we want to see. We want to see a full shot of Todd so we can see his facial expressions as he bends the strings." Loved Kas singing "Does Anybody Love You?" He was great!!" "At one point Todd even told the band to stop and wait for his cue, as they had rehearsed and at another point he asked "Boys, please help me out here". I think yesterday went very smooth for the opening show and today they relaxed a little but that bit them in the butt."

The venue (taken from the KasimInfo.com Blog that day):
The address of this venue is 182 South Main Street, Akron, OH 44308. More details about this venue were posted yesterday on this page.
Tickets for this gig cost between $200 and $50 (plus charges). A few days ago seats were still available in the tenth row of the venue for tonight's gig.
This theater was built in 1929 and apparently is one of only five remaining theaters in the country where patrons experience a twinkling star-lit sky and intermittent clouds moving across the horizon while sitting inside the auditorium. In June 2001 the theater closed until November 2002 for a $19 million refurbishment. One unusual thing to note about this venue is that the lobby lights are flicked on and off to indicate when the next set is about to start.
