The venue (taken from the KasimInfo.com Blog that day):
This venue originally opened as a cafe called Mrs. Jay's back in the 1960s. In 1974 (after the original cafe had closed) it reopened as The Stone Pomy. In the 19902 the venue was gutted and made into a dance club called Vinyl but that closed after only a year. On Memorial Day Weekend in 2000 the club opened again as The Stone Pony. The list of musicians who have played here is legendary but, of course, it includes New Jersey's own Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen!
Click here to view the venue website and here to purchase tickets which are $25 or $30 today (plus charges). This is a General Admission gig.
