According to Cityguide.aol.com:
Billed as South Florida's hotspot for live music, this mouth-full of a music lounge has lots going for it. Still considered a new venue -- it opened in 1999 -- Alligator Alley Native Florida Concert Hall & Music Lounge boasts a state-of-the-art concert hall. The brainchild of two local musicians, "Kilmo" Carl Pacillo and "Bonefish Johnny" Stacey, this is the scene where you good music is intimate and accessible to all. With its stellar acoustic, superb concert stage, a killer sound system, and a hot dance floor, Alligator Alley brings in some of the best acts, both nationally and locally. Mostly jazz and blues bands (some Reggae, some Rock) come to you in a wonderfully intimate setting, making this place one of the best to enjoy a show. The main room is complete with three bars and plenty of tables for your dining and viewing pleasure. The menu features an eclectic mix of Southern cuisine. And you can find whatever is your pleasure at the bar. And if you feel like smoking a cigar, no problem -- Alligator Alley boasts an extensive stogie menu.
