Band and Todd: Hello It's Me Just One Victory "Next up was 'Sweet', which had Kas and Jesse on keyboards, too - Kas looking a bit bored as he waited for his parts. Todd gave him a smile when Kas got one of the background parts from the CD just right, Kas smiling back at Todd." "It was so good to have Kasim and Todd together again! I thought Todd was especially emotional and honest in his presentation of the songs..I really like the set on this tour, although i agree "Hello it's me " can be dropped any time in my mind...I would suggest having Kasim do a solo of "eternal love" or something...." "Kasim seemed much more like himself in Boston....." "The Roxy is more of a dance club than a rock showcase, in the heart of Boston’s theatre district. It proved to be an appropriate venue for this show, given the attention paid to theatrics and the need for Boston fans to move and groove to the rave-up retro rock and soul that Todd and the Liars are serving up on this tour." "I think this very well may be Todd’s best live band ever. Of course it’s debatable, and in the end matters not... but they are playing like it, Todd is pushing them, and they pushing him back in ways I wondered if I would ever see again. Prairie, Jesse, and John have been playing with him since 1991 -- 13 years -- and of course Kasim has been with him on and off for more than 25. Kasim has long played the McCartney role to Todd’s Lennon." "I got one of Kasim's guitar picks! While the band was doing their `Green Onions' jam, I was taking notes and Kas chucked a pick which hit me in the shoulder, bounced to the stage and then to the darkened floor, luckily I found it at my feet! Later on, Kas threw another one in our general area, it too went on the floor, I found that one and gave it to the woman next to me."
